You lie down while the applicators are placed on the areas to be treated for 20 minutes. During the treatment, you will feel muscle contractions and a warm sensation similar to a hot stone massage. What are the common contraindications to this treatment and are there any side effects?
During the treatment you may feel a pleasant warmth, but you should never feel an unpleasant burning or painful sensation. The treatment should not be performed over hair or scar tissue, or if you wear electronic or metallic implants. Side effects may sometimes include temporary minor damage to the skin (crusts, blisters, and burns). Some patients feel a slight pulling sensation in their teeth, but we can eliminate this with special insertion pads if needed.
When are the first treatment results visible?
The first noticeable results can be seen immediately after the treatments. Very good results are usually visible as early as 90 days after the last session, which can continue to improve for several weeks after treatment.
Is there any downtime?
