The three types of cellulite
A sensible cellulite treatment does not start with the device but with the analysis. In our assessment we distinguish three classic forms that require different treatment priorities:
| Type | Recognizable by | Therapeutic focus of Cellution |
|---|---|---|
| Edematous cellulite (water) | soft tissue, swelling, heavy legs, often more visible in the evening | Vacuum massage & lymphatic activation |
| Adipose cellulite (fat) | soft fatty tissue, visible orange-peel skin when standing, often on the buttocks, abdomen and thighs | Diode heat & metabolic activation |
| Fibrotic cellulite (hardened) | firm, sometimes painful dimples, lumpy tissue – also possible in slim women | Acoustic vibration waves & tissue mobilization |
Treatable body areas
We offer Cellution with up to two zones per session. You can choose from the three classic cellulite areas:
- Leg (thigh)
- Buttocks
- Abdomen
The program
We achieve the best results with a structured course of 6 sessions, which we tailor individually to the findings, skin condition and goals.
| Recommended treatment frequency | 1–2 sessions per week |
| Recommended number of sessions | At least 6 sessions, depending on the type of cellulite |
| Duration per session | 30–60 minutes |
| Maximum number of zones per session | 2 zones |
| Maintenance therapy | 1 refresher every 3 months |
| Downtime | None |
| Visible effect | usually noticeable from the middle of the course, final result 4–8 weeks after the last session |
When Cellution should not be performed
Cellution is a non-invasive procedure with a good safety profile. Nevertheless, the following contraindications must be observed:
- pregnancy
- pacemaker
- implants in the treatment area
- open wounds or acute skin inflammation
- thrombosis or known coagulation disorders
- pronounced varicose veins in the treatment area (legs)
- fresh surgical scars (minimum interval 3–6 months)
In the consultation we clarify all individual factors in advance.
