Frequently asked questions about NAD+
It helps regenerate performance, improves brain function and combats chronic fatigue and exhaustion. Because it also supports cell repair, NAD+ counteracts the natural aging process, making it one of the most powerful anti-aging tools currently available. It also helps break down carbohydrates and alcohol in the body.
NAD+ is an energy-providing coenzyme. It is produced in the body from vitamin B3 (niacin) and from degradation products of the amino acid tryptophan.
We recommend starting once with half a dose, i.e. 0.25mg NAD+ infusion, so that the body can slowly get used to this active ingredient. After that we recommend to „recharge“ the NAD+ level of the body with 4 to 5 infusions once and then „reload“ once a month or at least once a quarter.
Properly used, NAD+ infusion is a very safe procedure. NAD+ must not be combined with other agents. Of course, possible contraindicators are clarified before treatment.
As with almost everything, side effects can also occur with this treatment. Possible side effects are, for example, a feeling of tightness in the chest, dizziness and nausea, especially during the first application. These side effects are harmless and subside immediately once the infusion speed has been reduced.
For example, fatigue, poor concentration, weight gain and a faster aging process may occur.
The mitochondria (powerhouse of the cell) are mainly responsible for the production of NAD+ in the body. However, this function of the mitochondria decreases with age. Hence the name „molecule of youth“ by which NAD+ is also often referred to. Already from the age of 40, the NAD+ level is reduced to half.
Currently primarily the high price! Since the active ingredient is still very new and is currently only manufactured by one producer, the ampoules are also very expensive for us to purchase. We hope that in the course of time the price will decrease so that we can make this infusion available to a broader group of patients.
