IPL Pigmentation spots

Removal of pigmentation spots with the assistance of a IPL device. Treatment of skin discolouration or signs of early aging without an operation or downtime.

So-called “age spots“ often make us appear older than we actually are. Imbalanced and uneven skin caused by pigmentation spots and sun damage can create a poor impression and can cause personal discomfort. Equally displeasing can be large pigmentation spots on backs of hands which allow others to deduce our age.

The treatment with the premium IPL System improves the appearance of vascular and coloured lesions, hyperpigmentation, melasmas, birthmarks and much more.

In the treatment with the IPL device, pigment spots are removed with a high energy, pulsing intensive light beam. The intense, pulsing light is absorbed by the skin’s melanin and converted into warmth. The pigment-rich cell structures of the aging spots are destroyed due to the high temperatures. Only the pigmentation spots are targeted. A result is visible even after the first treatment.

Since this light therapy works principally on changing skin colour, it is not recommended that this treatment is carried out on tanned skin as this can cause “white spots” to occur.
